About me
01.
Here’s how I see myself: Empathetic listener, systems thinker, innovator, facilitator, and leader. Deeply committed to values embodied in the UN’s 17 SDGs. My work is rooted in global, multi-industry experience, a love of collaborating with people, curiosity, and a voracious reading habit.
Accurate? There’s only one way to find out…
02.
Through un-stuck, I bring a wealth of expertise from years of work in multiple settings, industries, countries, and roles, along with years of study, research, teaching, and constant learning. I draw flexibly from the diverse disciplines, approaches, frameworks, and tools that I have found to be compelling and powerful including the ‘Four Leadership Intelligences’ model I developed and have used around the world with impressive results.
03.
I have walked the path of leadership, entrepreneurship, and social impact. From my rich experience in positions of responsibility, I intimately understand the challenges individuals and organizations face in navigating complex landscapes – both inner and outer. I have worked with staff teams schools, led global projects to catalyze innovation, taught in higher education, led business development, been a start-up product manager. I have supported the CEOs and leaders of dozens of NPOs, start-ups, and businesses. I have worked in and with organizations of diverse sizes and at all stages of maturity and growth. I have worked in the USA, India, Germany, UAE, Australia, Jordan, and elsewhere. My journey through these roles helps me contribute to each client's unique situation with a blend of understanding, analytic insight, strategic vision, operational expertise, and judgement.

I have degrees in law and in economics (Melbourne University), and an MA in Modern Jewish Philosophy and Education (Hebrew University). I am a graduate of Israel’s well-regarded Mandel School for Educational Leadership and have participated in residential training in Adaptive Leadership with the Harvard Professors who created that body of work.

My wife Helen, our three adult children and their partners, and our one granddaughter so far (who’s counting?) are sources of immense joy in my life. At any time, I am typically serving on the board of one or more NGO’s, engaging in community activism, training for a half-marathon, cooking vegan food, listening to music, and reading three books in parallel. Born in Melbourne, Australia, I live in Jerusalem, Israel, and I work locally and globally.
